about me
Hi! I'm Casey (pronouns: he/they.) I'm a queer actor, singer, and composer based in Chicago. If you'd like a quick gauge of my personality, I'm happy to point you toward this clip from 1998's The Parent Trap.
I received my bachelor's degree in vocal music education from Grand Valley State University in 2019, and moved to Chicago in 2021 after connecting with Big Mouth Talent. Chicago has been such a great home for me! I feel very fortunate to have met so many beautiful, queer people here (two characteristics that often overlap with "theatre person." A great Venn diagram.)
Some favorite recent roles of mine include Jack Kelly in Newsies (through Grand Rapids Civic Theatre), Jesus in Godspell (through Grand Valley State's Opera Theatre), and Frank Jr. in Catch Me If You Can (through Surging Films and Theatrics.)
More recently, I performed in Twihard: A Parody Musical with Otherworld Theatre Company, and as an understudy in Mercury Theater's production of Jersey Boys.
